in bliss —
Kira Geiger
have you thought about the fact
that someday, you will be the stain you will make
or, the fact that it will not be you producing something
separate from yourself
but rather, you, in bits
becoming both the fringes and the husk
then, you will not have to worry
whether he’ll do it again or wonder
what love really is,
you’ll be busy fusing with the floor, or chair, or bathtub
while your head, empty of thought
rots with you, molecules unlocking
quietly, in bliss
