“We would like to thank everyone who participated. One of my criteria for judging was to see how each poet interpreted the theme Full Circle, and how fresh and exciting their perspective was. All the winning haiku and senryu do just that, and I heartily congratulate the authors for their thought-provoking and insightful pieces.” — Shloka Shankar
The FULL CIRCLE Haiku Contest is the first collaboration between ZO Magazine & Sonic Boom. We are tremendously blessed to work with Shloka Shankar who judged the Contest and administrated its format, submission process and winner notifications.
We are all very hopeful that this is just the beginning of many more.
The Contest ran from July 1 to August 1 and received a total of 115 entries from around the world.
An in-depth conversation regarding the poems, haiga, and commentaries can be found at Sonic Boom. Winners are also scheduled for upcoming personal written and Zoom Interviews which will be found on the Zoom With ZO page.

ZO Magazine is a cloud publication that supports creativity worldwide. We are connected with artists all over the world — from over 170+ countries — with millions of consolidated views across all of our social media platforms and Cloud. Our mission is to encourage peace through the arts and world respect. We started Zooming on New Year’s Eve 2022 and it was so much fun that we decided to continue. This is our first time collaborating with other art groups that we’ve worked with and featured for many years. Join us as we continue to grow together . . .

It’s the way that you think . . .
A circle is the reflection of eternity. It has no beginning and it has no end – and if you put several circles over each other, then you get a spiral. — Maynard James Keenan
As we connect with a global community of artists, we are definitely into the timeless vibe of artist-to-artist encouragement. There is a lot going on in the world and supportive relationships are key to being able to stand in it. Connect into our circle by becoming a City Curator, enter our next Creative Expo and/or stay tuned for our next ZOOM With ZO!
We had great fun doing the NEW YEARS & BREAKFAST ZOOMS for 2023!
What a blast to join with the Arts Community we are developing with over 12 Countries represented. This was a monumental feat for our small TEAM! We certainly want to continue, but we have to add to the Team before we can pull another one off. We’re going to leave this EVENT Schedule up for inspiration and most likely will orchestrate our next Global Zoom in 2024.

Creative Zoom Participants can share in between the scheduled segments. Tell us who you are — what you’re creatively working on — prepare a show & tell of some art, a line of poetry, a dance . . . (as long as it’s 1 minute or less). We cannot promise everyone will get in, as we mentioned, we’re experimenting.
If you have been a Featured Artist, Musician, or Poet on ZO, contact us and we will put you in a slot so you can give everyone a “Shout Out!” You can Dial-In from anywhere in the world as long as we can hear you.
Wishing you the best in 2023. Stay safe, stay creative, and blessings. This is an experiment, so we’ll continue to see how it goes. We can only accommodate 100 people on each zoom call, so if we have that many participants, it will be on a first-come basis.
If you have an Arts Organization that would like to join with us in making these experiences a more exciting and rich encounter, we would like to add you to our “Zoom Development Team” — connect with us on social media or email us at zouniversal@yahoo.com with Subject Line: ZOOM EVENTS.
ZO serves as a hub and connection community for artists. Our mission is to promote peace through the creative arts and world respect.
ZO is organically comprised of an international convergence of artists, musicians, poets and creative souls and orchestrates a broad online presentation of artistic content, poetry, music and literary offerings through this daily-changing “cloud publication” at www.zomagazine.com and ZO Arts Global — which carries an international repository of creative content, supportive organizations and artists. All artists that have been on our pages are invited to share or do some kind of shout out on these Zoom Gatherings. We just need to schedule you in advance. Please email us at zouniversal@yahoo.com if you want to be put on the schedule.
