ZO has creative connections in over 170+ countries of the world. We interact with artists and creative souls from all of these countries. Our goal is to have a creative connection in each country around the world and to also have Sponsor|Curators in each that share art news with our creative community. Artists, Sponsors, and Creative Connections for each country are linked below. The left column links to our UTC Global event now developing. The right column links to Country, State, Province, and Sponsor information for each.
Follow these links to any Country you would like to connect with. Artists, City Sponsors and other country connections are all on these dedicated pages. UTC Time Zone links to upcoming performance info as ZO continues to plan for a Spoken World Event.

“There are 195 universally recognized countries. Places like Kosovo and Taiwan are partially recognized which increases the count. The State of Palestine is often included but only recognized by 138 UN members. Kosovo is also sometimes included but only recognized by 97 UN members.
If you were to ask ten people how many countries are in the world, you would probably hear ten different answers. Here at Worldatlas.com, we state 195 countries based on the 193 that belong to the United Nations (UN) plus the Holy See (Vatican) and the State of Palestine, which are non-member observer states.
Differing Opinions
The United States officially recognizes 195 countries as well; but instead of recognizing the State of Palestine, it recognizes Kosovo. Other sources claim there are 197 countries. They count Holy See and Palestine as UN observers but also consider Taiwan and Kosovo to be self-governed territories that both have substantial economic resources of their own.”

*Sometimes Countries are divided into more than one UTC area. Our Time ZOne Spoken World Event, will start in Spain and travel east around the globe. For purposes of the list below, we are linking the western-most time zone for country designations. For example, we have listed American Samoa UTC (-)11 for the USA because that is the first entertainment segment we will stream from the US in our event. (We will initiate the event with a “toast” from Los Angeles.) Time and zones are pretty interesting. If you’re interested you can find more info at this Wikipedia link: List of UTC time offsets
We are currently developing and working with a growing list of Sponsor|Curators to expose more direct links to creative happenings in the countries they represent. Info on our developing Art Convergence can be found at this link. These connections are developing and part of our mission to encourage and promote world respect and peace through the arts.
For ZO’s purposes, we are listing and highlighting the art of 197 countries. This is purely to capture the “cultural legacy” of art, music, and traditions each region has.
