Bio: Lillian Cumic is a trailblazer in the world of plant-based cooking, with over two decades of experience creating delicious, healthy, and sustainable vegan recipes.
Originally from Sydney, Australia, Lillian’s culinary journey began in Sendai, Japan, where she immersed herself in the food industry and became a passionate advocate for plant-based diets.
As the owner and head chef of her dining bar, Lillian shared her love of vegan cooking with clients, friends, and colleagues, instructing them on the wonders and virtues of vegan cuisine.
She quickly gained a reputation for her inventive recipes, incorporating local ingredients and traditional Japanese flavors into her dishes.
After relocating to Honolulu in 2018, Lillian continued to share her passion for vegan cooking by teaching classes, hosting a vegan lifestyle and plant-based diet show on ThinkTech Hawaii called “Lillian’s Vegan World,” and creating her own company, Lillian Vegan LLC.
Lillian’s gourmet vegan dining experiences, including her famous seven-course meals and delightful Vegan High Tea, have been praised for their creativity, beauty, and taste.
With nearly 200 plant-based recipe videos on her YouTube channel and Facebook page, she has inspired people all over the world to embrace veganism and explore the diverse and delicious world of vegan cuisine.
Lillian’s dedication to her craft is evident in her first cookbook, “Hawaii: A Vegan Paradise,” where she showcases her 20+ year career as a chef and recipe creator by adding a vegan twist to traditional Hawaiian cuisine.
