ZO has an articulated affinity and relationship with clouds . . . the pages of our Poetry ZOne are all cloud/water themed, from the main Ocean page to What Cloud Are You On?, Precipitation and What Is The Grass? Our initial launch party — Cloud Formation at The Tropics — held this same metaphorical connection in its “CLOUD” of artists gathering to witness what we can change together . . .”
The Tropics – Hollywood, California USA
ZO launched this current incarnation in 2014 with a primarily poetry-filled mandate, creative Expo, and live extravaganza at The Tropics, an exotic plant repository in Hollywood, CA. The Tropics did the plant work for Jurassic Park – see more photos below. We’ve promoted live aspects of our Project since its inception, and have orchestrated and designed 2 live venues — CAb and NoHo Creative Space — both, in collaboration with Ericco Studio.
Our next brick & mortar live venture will revolve around the Time Theatre . . . now in progress and building through 2029.
Although we’ve been planning to publish a hard copy for most of our conceptual life, the launch of our digital online Cloud in 2014 took off with such force, that it left little time and energy for our small Team to seque into the print copy we envisioned. Finally, we now assembling a 4-Volume “Collector’s Edition” that will available to the public in June 2027. Everything in life tells us that this is the perfect time! ZO is coming FULL CIRCLE with the approaching fusion of it’s film project, The O.D.D. Room, the interactive Game connected to it, and our growing community of creatives. These projects are a Wheel Within a Wheel of Another Wheel. Rather than treating them as separate inventions, each part lends itself to the other — allowing participants and viewers watching the film, to respond, create, and join our Other Dimensional Discussion Room journey in interactive sequence! Everyone who has ever connected with ZO is invited to explore these next steps with us as we develop the prototype game and fuse the discussion with continued sharing and highlights of all of our creativity.
ZO has connected with artists in over 170 countries & cultural provinces around the world and we love how creativity transcends borders, ideologies and all of the things that tend to separate humans.
ZO Magazine LAUNCH PARTY
ZO Magazine’s launch with it’s first Poetry Expo crescendoed with a live event we called “Cloud Formation at The Tropics” — highlighting some phenomenal poets that we live-streamed and filmed.
The Tropics is a truly magical location, and proved to be an ideal as a unique performance venue for our launch. The exotic plants are unquestionably the most interesting plant-life you will find in Los Angeles (maybe the World), so if you ever get the chance – do visit them! (It’s now by appointment only.)

These plants at The Tropics were loving the heat and moisture on the day of our event, but we were all jokingly “melting.” It was probably 100 degrees with no air conditioning. OMG, THANK YOU everyone for coming, for staying, and for having fun! It was certainly an adventure . . .
With creativity, it is not just the craft that appeals to ZO, but the positive energy, the spirit of friendship and giving. We truly have to keep spreading this kind of creativity around the world. If we keep at it, maybe we can make it a little better, maybe creativity can change the world.

WHAT’S NEW!
Our O.D.D. Room film project — released as a 13-part micro series connected to it’s companion creative Expo, is now set to develop into an interesting global RPG and philosophical discussion about Time Travel. Creative participation will continue through TIME THEATRE — a unique Game and developing Community. We are in the process of connecting with a few Game companies for beginning conversations on possible collaboration, and we are inviting all of those in our creative community who may be interested into the first tier foundation of the Game during 2027.
