ZO Magazine launched in 2014 with a Poetry Expo! From there, we have been touched by the soul of a thousand voices crying in the wilderness of Earth — trying to make sense of a sometimes senseless world — trying to connect with those voices who also have a heart for our universal mission, which is to: “encourage respect for all people and promote peace through the arts.”

ZO is celebrating our 10th Year Anniversary and has a few Creative Expos going this year: Cover Art | Literature | O.D.D. Room Expo (coming New Year’s Eve 2024).
Feel free to enter the other categories in the DECENNALIA EXPO as well, but only your first entry in each category is free. Additional entries after your first entry are $5.00 each.

POETRY ENTRY DETAILS
- Anyone over the age of 13 from anywhere in the world can enter
- All entries must be in English
- The poem must include the words “10 Years” or “Ten Years” somewhere within the poem
- Poems should be appropriate for general audience
- Poems should be a minimum of 7 lines and maximum of 25 lines of text
- All entries must be the original work of the person submitting
- All entries must be fictional
- All submissions grant ZO non-exclusive permission to use entries in perpetuity
- Copyright to the original submitted work will remain the property of its author
- DIGITAL SUBMISSION ONLY through “Submittable” – with author’s real name and information (you may use a pseudonym for publication)
AWARDS
- First Place Winner Each Month — $50
- After we receive the first 25 entries, we will award a $50 Honorarium to the judged favorite poem each month. At the end of the year, we will award the Top Three Judged poems a one-year ZO Gold Level City Curator Page (Award Value $240). City pages are our unique advertising platform and we believe it highlights our connected global talents. We consider our awards an honorarium for great work. We do not ask for exclusivity to publish the works, nor do we need anything other than a photo for art entries. (City Curator pages are for creative businesses, individuals or your favorite Hero or Shero)
