Are you a Doppelgänger for any of these Characters in our film?

You can be creative with your “interpretation” of doppelgänger — i.e., you may not be the same race, have the same hair color or even similar visual essence to the character — but there is something you feel internally that could or does connect you.

Generally we are looking for doppelgängers that are truly look alikes to these characters —but— in traditional “Different Universe” style, please feel free to creative interpretations. You will need to explain your reasoning if your doppelgänger doesn’t resemble the character. We want to know what, in your imagination, makes you a double to our character (in 44 words or less). There is a place for this in the submission form.

MORE TIME TRAVELERS and INFO AT: CONSORTIUM

ZO’s O.D.D. Room film has been in development since 10/10/2010 (our first day of shooting). The original synopsis of this Hollywood version of the story stated: “The O.D.D. Room is a mystery with a supernatural twist — set in the art/fashion world.” The far deeper background story incepts outside of time — and physically manifested through a book by River Alexander (started many years ago while attending the Architectural Design program at Temple University). The O.D.D. Room Expo is a morphed presentation born from a number of forms the unfolding story has taken through a string of beginnings. We’re very thankful for the 10 years of building ZO Magazine that now gives us this interesting platform to start interacting with a lot of very like creative minds that we’ve connected with over time.

This doppelgänger angle to this first CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS through the Time Traveler portal — connects and expounds on theories that have been circulated and explored in literature, psychoanalysis, and psychology. It runs tangentially through the original book and as we link it to our Intelligent Tree postulation, we think all of us will be surprised at what develops . . .
